Racial tensions and overt racism has reared its head in our political process, justice system, and sadly in our everyday interactions with one another. Let's no longer sit on the sidelines and watch as America deteriorates along racial lines. Join an open-forum conversation with an ethnically diverse panel to discuss race relations-- with the aim of mending the racial divide. Guaranteed to be positive, professional, and thought-provoking! Who: Host & Moderator Krystal Glass joined by an ethnically diverse panel.

Diverse Panel:
Emma Levine, a Jewish woman whom has contributed to strengthening the relationship between the African American community and Jewish community in her role at Operation Understanding- an organization devoted toward eradicating racism and anti-Semitism. Emma currently serves the youth as the Alumni Coordinator for Thurgood Marshall Academy.
Darrell Gaston, a Black-American man whom is grounded in advocating for the residents of Ward 8. Darrells platform consists of education, health care, and infrastructure; to name a few. A native Washingtonian from Ward 8, Darrell most recently ran for the Democratic nomination for DC Council in Ward 8, a seat currently held by Councilmember Marion Barry. Darrell continues to strengthen his platform as the Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner Elect.
Jamie Triplin-Hines, an ethnically diverse woman who has a passion for bringing difficult societal issues to the forefront. She prides herself in the fact that her life experiences have taught her to see things from all perspectives--skin color, religion, socio-economic status and other demographics do not stop her from treating people from all walks of life with respect and civility. Jamie does not force people to fit inside a box labeled by society; especially after years of her being forced to check the "white," "black," or "other" box on applications and tests. Can we just check "human"? Jamie is currently a writer and media analyst with a knack for race relations.
Rob Corcoran, a White-American man with extensive experience in facilitating dialogue, reconciliation and partnerships among diverse and polarized racial, ethnic, and religious groups in an array of locales in Europe, South Africa, India, Australia and the United States. He is the national director of Initiatives of Change and founder of Hope in the Cities, which models honest conversation and sustained partnerships across traditional boundaries.
