Peace in Mali Concert

With an escalation of the fighting in Mali leading to a French-led military intervention just weeks ago, musicians, the diplomatic community, NGOs and concerned citizens will come together to raise awareness and humanitarian aid to support refugees and internally displaced persons in the region. In a show of solidarity and resounding call for peace in Mali, local Malian musicians Supernova King and Master Griot Cheick Hamala Diabate will take to the stage with Cameroonian singer Taka Tanni and Finckya of the Congo.

H.E. Al Maamoun Keita, Ambassador to the USA from the Republic of Mali, will address attendees to give the most up-to-date information on the crisis in Mali.

100% of proceeds raised will be donated to humanitarian organizations working in the region to support refugees and IDPs.
