Students will receive a hands-on lesson in the basics of healthy food preparation as Chef Alli walks students through three dishes. Warm up with lentil soup before turning to poached mahi-mahi with quinoa, yogurt, parsley, and cucumber relish; and sweet potato crumble with whipped yogurt and toasted almonds. The best part: a portion of the class fee will go to MicroGreens, a non-profit organization founded by Chef Alli to teach children and families about healthy eating and shopping. Trust us -- after an evening with this chef, your cooking skills will be a hot commodity.
